St. Albert the Great’s 6th, 7th and 8th graders are invited to attend the conference.

When: November 14-16, 2013 (Thursday -Saturday)

Leave St. Albert at lunch time(11:00 AM) on Thursday arrive at Crown Plaza at 3:00PM dressed in business attire

Parents pick up student at 10:30AM on Saturday in the hotel lobby

Where: Crown Plaza Marriott on Phillips Lane

Meetings: Thursdays 3:00 – 3:50 Starting September. 12, 2013

Cost: YMCA fee: $10 due Sept. 19, 2013 (non refundable)

Conference cost: $220 + $10 Y fee

Deposit of $100 due Sept. 26, 2013, Balance due Oct. 10, 2013

Attending: The program fee includes lodging, lunch at Claudia Sanders Dinner House, dinner on second evening, final morning breakfast, and transportation to and from the Capitol in Frankfort. All other meals and snacks (smoothies) must be purchased individually or brought from home.

Dress code: The program requires all students to wear business attire (boys need a tie on Friday) on the first two days. They can dress in casual attire for the dance and last day closing ceremony.

Meals: The YMCA provides: lunch on Friday(Claudia Snaders), Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast. Students are responsible for: Thursday dinner, Friday breakfast, snacks. Pizzas are ordered and delivered for night time – after group meeting (about $10 / to be shared) Smoothies are for sale during dance on Friday night.

Electronics: Cell phones must be put away during conference meetings. Cameras are OK.
